Kite boarding instruction
- Kiteboarding is a simple, fun and safe sport when learnt the correct way. With the right equipment and instruction kiteboarding will change the way you hear the wind. The Instruction process is a 3-part process and can be done as one course over 10 hours.
- The basics The basics (2-3 hours/ ratio 1:4) - basic kiting principles and history - use of trainer kite - initial kite systems and set up - safety systems - care, storage and repair
- Getting wet Getting wet (4 hours / ratio 1:2) - kite set up on the beach/ shore - wind direction and safe launching - flying the kite re-launching the kite - body dragging up wind and down wind - safe landing - self rescue
